was able to get it this far ,which is ok if you have a magnifying glass
I will keep buggering about hopefully I will get there soon

Peter, resize the images to 450 pixels in width, that is the limit the gallery will take.

Peter, the pictures look like gallery thumbnails. Did you attach the files or upload them into your gallery?
I always find it easier to upload the images to my gallery on SRP and then grab the link to the image in the gallery for the post.
