    Default Uneven bevel

I'm having hell of a time getting a decent edge on a 6/8 Bengal.

The blade has no discernable hone wear and is parallel but the edge is different on each side.

I'm definitely keeping the edge and spine in contact with the hone and not using excess pressure but one side is only really showing a bevel at the ends the other side seems reasonable but not even along the whole length.

    Any remedies for this ?.

If the bevel is opposite on the other side ( no bevel at ends and bevel at center ) then the blade is warped or the thickness of the spine is inconsistant.

Thanks Geln, I'll check it out thoroughly tonight with verniers.
