Thread: honing and repair uk

hi,
not sure if i've put this in the right place but do any of you know someone in the UK who can restore an old razor i've acquired. i have looked in the classifieds but i can only find people in the americas.

As far as I know both Neil Miller (www.strop-shop.co.uk - hand made straight razor strops, razor pouches, shaving accessories, vintage razors, razor honing and restoration) and mr. Dempster (Introduction to razors) offer these services. I have no experience with them personally. However, they are highly recommended by other members.

sorry, forgot to mention that it has several chips on the blade, so it might be quite a big job.

I´ve had lots of razors with Neil and if anyone can save a razor it´s him. He´s a really good crafts man and highly recomended, from me

I never used Demptser, but he has a good rep as a vendor for some very jummy blades (TI:s and Iwasakis)
