Your razor already looks a lot better than what some people call a "mirror finish."

Thanked: 50+1 on what Utopian said. In addition: IME those scratch lines fade when applying polish in the heel to toe direction.
The blade looks quite good in that light btw. Satin finish.

Thanked: 1936Looks good! You can take it back down several grits to remove the prior scratches or just hone it and enjoy bringing another razor back...which is what I would do.
