    +1 on what Utopian said. In addition: IME those scratch lines fade when applying polish in the heel to toe direction.

    The blade looks quite good in that light btw. Satin finish.

    Looks good! You can take it back down several grits to remove the prior scratches or just hone it and enjoy bringing another razor back...which is what I would do.
