Looks like a keeper. A mild cleanup with some polish would give an even clearer idea.

Well I spent a hour or so with some Mothers mag polish earlier this evening and now I'm leaning towards honing and taking it for a spin before I tackle the scales. Whats the recommended way of cleaning those old horn scales by the way?
