    Default Sandpaper online

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a suggestion of where (preferably online) I can buy sandpaper with a wide range of grit options. I've searched Lowes, etc. but none really go above 600 grit and many do not even carry Aluminum Oxide or Silicon Carbide.

    Anything would help. Thanks!

Hit the woodworking sites--Rockler, Woodcraft, Woodpeckers, Peachtree, Lee Valley. To name a few.

    +1 to catrentshaving,

auto supply stores should have everything you need to include any polish you may want for when you get the blade where u want it.

Thanks! I think I've read on a previous post about auto supply stores but it slipped my mind. I'll check some out tomorrow and also check out the woodworking sites like Wort mentioned

Do you have a local Ace hardware or something of that ilk? I just picked up 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 2200 grit wet/dry from my local hardware store for .79 a sheet.

Autozone, O' Reilly, Walmart and Kmart as well in the automotive section, pretty much anywhere that you can find auto touch-up paint for scratches...

I just bought some Norton Black Ice paper from Tru-Grit. The people at Tru-Grit are very nice and their prices were the best I could find on the Black Ice.

I also purchased some Rhynowet paper from Supergrit. The Rhynowet is nece because it doesn't leave black stains on your handle materials. (The Rhynowet can be found at the bottom of page I linked to.)

Thanks Chris, I found some at Wal-Mart a couple days ago but they were missing several grit levels. I think I'll probably order my missing ones from there.
