Default Getting rust off Clauss razor

I have a Clauss razor with a little rust (I think) on the blade. The blade isn't coated or chromed or anything and seems to be just regular steel. How can I clean this without messing up the blade?

Here is the best picture of the blade I can get.

I'm very new to this, but have a blade that looked very similar to that. I added a buffing wheel to my regular bench grinder, a little green compound, and it shines like new. If there is any pitting it won't take it out, but it will remove all of the rust and leave you with a very clean blade.

You can try some metal polish such as Maas or Flitz..personally I just use Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish. Might take some elbow grease but it works. For tougher stuff or a brighter shine I use buffing wheels on the bench grinder...great if its available to you and you're careful
