    Default Question on cleaning

    Finally got in my newest addition to the collection, a Joseph Allen and sons NON-XLL. Now I'd like to clean it up, my question is, should I clean the patina or just leave it as is? This is the original post from when I got it. Any tips are appreciated.

    joshb1000,

    I think you should just leave it pretty much as is. You may want to wipe it down with a little MAAS or Simichrome to remove any rust, but don't overdo it.
