Help needed identifying these washer sizes.
Hi Guys,
I am trying to locate some brass washers in the UK suitable for pinning a set of scales.
I have found this site https://maccmodels.co.uk/index.php?c...6b356610b093a5
I think there is something suitable here but dont understand this BA sizing.
Could someone identify something around 1/16th for me?
Cheers

OK, managed to work out 10ba is 1.7mm which is just over 0.1mm bigger than 1/16th. It will do I think?
Unless someone knows where to find 1/16th brass washers in the UK?

from what I can tell from the chart here,
British Tools & Fasteners - BA Thread Profile
10ba is the size you'd need from them-sorry, no idea of vendors local to you.
Many of us in North America use http://www.microfasteners.com/catalog/index.cfm, and I see on their order page "Foreign and premium shipments are billed at actual cost or $7 minimum. "
The brass 0, brass wide 0. and stainless 0 are good sizes to get. Also the mini screws, bolts and wrench are handy to trial bolt together to fit. Get 2 wrenches
