    I managed to get myself an old W&B which had seen better days (Ebay Item number: 6639116687) and using Vlad's excellent scale blank kit with Kingwood and the equally excellent advice and tips on this forum, I managed to do this with it. Given that I haven't worked with wood since I failed woodwork in school 20 years ago, I'm quite pleased with it - now I just have to get it honed up and take it for a test drive.

    How did anyone else who got one of the kits do? I'm sure there's better results out there from hands more skilled than mine.
