On ebay look up a seller called manyrazor.

He sells pivot sets with "German Silver" pins, brass flat washers and "german silver" finishing collars.

$8 US for a set of 6 and free world wide postage.

I've ordered mine but still waiting for the post so I can't comment on quality but if it is as good as advertised my life has become easier.

I did discover today that chain bauhause have brass rodd for 11€. you find it at the welding department
