    Default Pearl shell laminate

    Well it turned out OK. Shell laminate on 1/16" wood with blue plastic liners.

    The shell stinks when sanding, like having teeth drilled, yuk.

    dust from abalone, pearl, cocobolo, asbestos, and other calcium organic thingies are some of the worst things you can get into your lungs.

    Don't even sand 3 grains of that stuff off without a mask. A good mask. Not those 49 cent paper dust masks, either.
