Thanked: 2If you use blue painter's tape to hold down the outside corners it will help keep the floor of the box taught and provide some stability to the box. Blue tape shouldn't leave residue on the fabric.

I picked up a 20" smith victor photo cube with lights for a little over 100 at Adorama photography. It came with 4 different backgrounds, white, black, green and blue. The blue and green for doing "green screen" shots.
The pics came out quite nicely. I'll post a couple here when I'm not on my iPad.
here are a couple of pics:

Thanked: 2209Excellent pics! If you could post a pic of the lights placement, type & power and cube it would be appreciated. That would help me set up my light box for the proper light angles etc.

ok, will do. It will be awhile though. I loaned the light tent to my Brother so he could make some pics of his guns (for insurance purposes). The kit did come with a pamphlet on different types of lighting placement etc for the beginning photographer.
It came with two desk type lamps, so the placement would be one on each side, the optimal distance would be approximately 6 inches, no further away than a foot. This kit also came with light diffusers, just fabric with elastic that slips over the lampshades.
In the pic of the Dovo you can see a piece of lint (just beneath the blade) that we didn't notice.
