Thanked: 39In Texas we have a store called Hobby Lobby, and they have thin rods of brass, copper and other metals that can be used for pinning razors. They have solid and hollow rods in lots of thicknesses. Couple of dollars for a pack of two. Other than that, check the restoration forum.

For the pins, you'll most likely use brass or nickel silver rod, 1/16 in diameter. As noted below, Hobby Lobby or any other hobby shop should have the brass. The nickel silver can be harder to find locally, but knife making suppliers, such as Texas Knife, usually stock it. For washers, Micro Fasteners is your best bet. Then all you'll need is a small file, flush cutters, a 4 or 8 (if you are very gentle) oz ball peen hammer and an anvil or something else hard and you'll be pinning in no time.

Ok, that is awesome. I am going the the Workshop, to learn next. Yeah, we have Hobby Lobby here in Florida, so this is great. Now to find some scales and a blade.
