Thanked: 0Bug Bites
Gentlemen,
I have a couple razors with varying degrees of bug bites in the horn scales that I want to plug. I'm thinking of using JB weld or PC10 since their grey color should blend with the horn color. Are there other materials I should consider?

Thanked: 13249I think when you start sanding you will find that the horn is either Black or very very Dark Brown... There might have been some Grey out there but I haven't found any "Yet"
I use Brownell's Acra-bed which comes in Black or Brown... but any colored epoxy should do fine... I am of course assuming you are going to sand these down smooth...
Also Neat's Foot oil works wonders on them but only use it after you have done the repairs...Last edited by gssixgun; 04-12-2011 at 07:53 PM.
