I don't know what you mean by small quantities but you could try here Chicago Screws - Binding Stainless Aluminum Plastic Steel Chicago Screws

Thanked: 114Thanks. I was looking to buy only a handful (enough to fashion a single strop or two). The site above appears to sell them in 100 count packages.

Thanked: 20I would suggest looking into Tandy Leather Factory. I am not certain what the price was but they come in packs of ten and in a few sizes and finishes.

OP, are you in DC or NoVA area? There are several Ace Hardware stores and Do it Best hardware stores within easy access of Metro routes if you actually live in town. There's a few of the same stores in NoVA but if you're not close to them traffic getting to and from is a pain. My local Ace has a really good selection of hardware that the big box stores could only dream of. If their employees had a clue that there are more options out there than Machine, Drywall, and Wood screws.

Thanked: 114Thanks. This is very helpful. Ace is close by but they never end up on my razor screen for some reason. I'll give them a try. Thanks for the tip!

Thanked: 114I noticed this weekend that Michaels craft store carries "post screws" in the scrapbooking section that appear to be the same thing as Chicago screws. They are sold in small quantities.
