HELP NEEDED: Beautiful Boker with warped One Piece Ivory ( Celluloid?) Scale...
I recently acquired a beautiful Boker with a One Piece ivory or celluloid scale. Unfortunately the scale is 'Warped and Twisted'.
Question 1: Is it salvageable?
Question 2: What advice can you give me on how to salvage/repair.
Here are the pics:
Thanks for any and all help...

Not sure how to fix it but I just had to chime in to say that is beautiful, I hope you get it fixed! Is it even able to fully close?

I don't know if that guide would help, it looks like these scales are one piece. And ivory may not react the same as the cracked ice scales

Thanked: 3164Beautiful razor - crying shame about the scales. Looks like someone left it over a radiator to dry out. Pretty sure that they aren't ivory, btw. If it was heat that bent them, heat might straighten them - or write them off completely!

Neil

Thanks Neil...I 'm thinking they are celluloid myself as Ivory tends to yellow quite a bit I believe with age. The blade is circa 1930's...or so I was told???
That's why I posted...to get as many ideas as possible before I attempt a repair. If it is just a little heat that's needed I think I can do that...
Thanks...
