Default Make new or stick with the originals?

    Hello all.
This is my first attempt at semi restoring a razor. I have taken it apart and hand sanded the blade & cleaned the up the scales. I am trying to decide whether or not to try and make new ones or use the old. I have noticed that they don't sit flush with each other & appear to be slightly bowed. Is this an issue?? If it is then I'll have a go making some new ones. If not I suppose it would be nice to keep them original since it's been that way for who know how long.

    Hi!
Before you decide on what to do with it, check out this recent, great thread by Gssixgun.
Pretty much exactly what you would want to know, should you decide to keep them.
And I for one, generally likes them to be as original as possible

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
