Of course I'm kidding. I do not recommend drinking draino. Or running with scissors. I have a weird sense of humor sometimes.

It could have been worse, You could have been out driving at that time of night instead. With razors you'd need extraordinarily bad luck or extraordinarily determination to be be playing for keeps.

Another use for the superglue, though, is to stick card or wood veneer to the side you're not working on, overlapping the edge.

I think the bit about chicks digging scars applies when you've already got them, and the chances of the situation deteriorating have long passed by.

I still have the impressive scar inflicted when my grandmother gave me a pocket-knife at the age of four.

    "He'll cut himself!"

"Aye, he will that. But he'll learn."

The wound has since healed... But, I saw this on CNN today and couldn't help but repost here! We (some of us) aren't the only ones who glue wounds. Not exactly a surgeon general endorsement, but chefs and superglue...

Mixing ****tail ingredients and cutting parmesan! It sounds like you can get more fun per stitch with razors.

I think stitching can be overrated. If the bleeding can be stopped, the wound stays immobile enough to heal, and it is unlikely to scar in an undesirably ugly shape unless restrained, you don't need stitches.

The use of cyanoacrylate glue is a well-known technique, and although there are specialised medical grades, the ordinary sort should work fine. Beware of enclosing any inside the wound, as there is no telling what harm an enclosed flake of plastic might cause later.

My goodness, I've been censored! I hope that word isn't ringing the alarm bells which would be richly deserved by anybody who deliberately introduced gross language into such a civilised environment.

He could probably content himself with "tail", though.
