    I saw this on ebay. Does anyone know what nails they are using?

    no, but with the preformed heads on the pins I would assume they are more like screws than pins?

    On a side note, I hate when ebay sellers attach pictures of related items (i.e. all of the scales) and then write in the description that it is $22 for JUST eight of those pins. I would pass on it personally.

    *edit - I looked more closely and see how they are made. I would assume those are just finishing nails with ugly washers. I used to use them to loosely hold my scales together during fabrication before I bought some microfasteners.

    Those are nails with a domed head. It works nice and is well put together. I personally don't use them but had bought it once to try out.
