Lynn: a sneak peek at your Kauri Scales.
It took a bit longer to get these done due to my workload at the office. I just don't have the energy to work in the shop or do much else during the week.
The razor is going out tomorrow and I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the scales. The photos can't show the play of the grain. The light/dark areas move as the angle of light changes. Under some angles the dark and light areas completely interchange.
The wedge is polished brass. I find that it looks good but also adds a bit of extra weight. Kauri scales are light compared to other woods.
Let me know how you like them when you get them in your hands.

Vlad, you're a magician. I am not a big fan of light-colored woods, but you managed to make them look GOOD. I also love the way you incorporated your logo into the pinning.
