    Question Riveting pins neatly

    Hi guys,

So, I'm in the process of preparing my razor for a nice restore.

But now I got some S/S rods, but I want to know if there is a way to make a neat head for it, similar to the heads of the pins at the bottom of this page: Razor Scales & Pin kits.

The reason why I'm asking is the pins currently on my razor are still the factory pins, and they are riveted, but the riveting smeared to th one side, so it doesnt look very nice.

My other question, can I use pivot screws, instead of pins? Like the ones from this site:Pivots & Shims - Knife Machines and Tools cc / Afri-Thipa cc

Or is there something similar that I can use?

Reason why is, I purchased very expensive holographic carbon fibre for the scales, so I want to make this razor look super nice, considering it's an heirloom.

Thank you in advance for any help.

    Здравствуйте.

Спасибо за Ваше сообщение. Я просто хотел бы знать, если место, где вы приобрели эти булавки имеет веб-сайт? Они очень красивые!
