finished
Its finished ,it just needs to be honed ,the blade is not as tight as I would like ,however I cant bring myself to peen it any more to tighten it up,call me a chicken I dont care , at the wedge end there is what looks like a crack,however it is where the pearl shell had layed down a new layer of MOP

That's just awesome Peter, you should be commended.
I have heard of washers and such used at the pins to help distribute the pressure and get the pins tight on fragile material like thaht. Maybe for next tim. All in all, scales which are a little loose on that are NO deterent, but because of that I only give it a 9.99 out of 10. We can round that off for simplicity's sake.

Oh baby that is so nice.
I have to ask;
Are you planning on selling any of these masterpieces?
How do you get that matt finish?

Thanked: 1That is some very nice work. You did a very good job with it. I can appreciate all that it took to get to this stage.
Having examples like this in the mix will keep me on my toes, for sure.

I dont think this is a problem it is something that you just have to get used to ,practice ,practice ,pracitce.
