Thanked: 94question about PUMAs
I've picked up two Pumas recently.
Both I had plans on re-scaling because their original scales were in shabby condition, but when I go through my box of donor scales the Pumas appear to be longer from pivot pin to tip than the scales I have available allow for.
Are Pumas longer than usual and do I have to get customs for them?

Thanked: 240I am in no way an authority but I can say my one puma is indeed a tad longer then the majority of my other razors, maybe it has something to do with the third pin?

Thanked: 1936If you take ten different razors from ten different mfg's, you will find you have ten blades of different lengths. Some are "close" enough to rescale in donor scales, some aren't. As far as "having" to get custom scales made, that's up to you. Key length, as I'm sure you have found, is from pivot hole to end of blade. Good Luck!
