Looks good as is to me. As it's a hollow ground you don't want to take of too much steel lest you make the blade like tin foil..!
Plus I think a few little marks give character and you've already got a really great finish on it. I'd just hone her up and enjoy!
Great job on the sanding too!

The pits seem to be deep. In that case, just leave it as it is.
You'd have to sand deeper than the deepest pits on both sides. It is very likely you'll sand through the blade.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

Do the minimum now and see what you feel about that. You can always do more later if you have to.
