deighaingeal, I know they sell molasses by the gallon jug. I have never had need to buy a larger size though. Now i am off to google to see how big of a container one can get.

Thanked: 46For the folks wait for me to chime in and have something to say ... I've heard of this from a friend of mine and wondered about it. I'm very curious to see the outcome. Good to see more results based testing.

24 hours.
dirtychrome. haha i chuckled at that. It may take awhile, but grandpa always told me work smarter not harder.
plus if it takes some time you can't rush it.... some of the first advice I got was rush a restore wreck a razor. that little tidbit will stick with me and don't sand to much off near the edge is up there too.

having the pics spaced out doesn't help much. It does look better at the 24 hour mark than it did at the 14 hour mark. well see how tomorrow morning looks. I think by the 48 hour mark we will have an answer on how well it does. but then again i can always leave this thing in there till there is nothing left...not much left to begin with.
new guy question...is that over honing?

It seems like there is visually a difference after 24hrs. Interesting to see how it turns out in the end.
