Tired of using brush on poly
So I decided to try some of the wipe on. But how to not deal with laying them down???? I had a dream about it last nite. I have a ton of paracord(550) and paperclips. So I hang em up after I wipe on the finish. I'm sure this is not new to anyone but it works perfect for me....

Just remember not to hang them in a doorway where your wife might walk through them.
The complaining about removing poly isn't worth it, but most importantly she might ruin the finish.

A thought;
I finished 4 gun stocks with "spray on" poly, last year. I lightly spray first coat, 3 days to dry, light 0000 steel wool, then repeat process for 4 more coats.
I'm happy with the results.Str8Shooter likes this.
