Hello Everyone from Canada
I have just joined SRP and from what I have been reading the members sound like they have a wealth of experience that I could use. I have purchased a straight razor form e-bay with little knowledge about them but fully intending to use it to shave with. I is in pretty good condition but could stand to be polished and honed so that I may be able to use it for shaving. I have tumbler but have yet to find the walnut and corn cob media to tumble the razor with. Any sources for these media?

Dunno whereabouts in Canadia you live, but your local gunsmith should have access to both sorts of tumbling media. Anywhere reloading supplies are sold.

Thank you to Ace and Nessmuck for the welcome. Thank you to Mike Blue for the tip I have already gotten info on what I am looking for and am very excited about refinishing my razor for final hone and use.
