Thanked: 114How many washers does it take to repin a razor?
ANSWER: About 12 once you factor in the ones you drop and lose. Man, those little guys are hard to keep track of!

I use one of those thin, white foam sheets under my anvil to help dampen the ring through the table I work on. It also works really well to make the washers stand out, and they sort of stick to it and thus don't escape quite as easily.

mine stay in the little bag they came in, they are allowed out one at a time. If too many are allowed into the open at the same time, as stated, they get notions of freedom and make their escape

I do the same with those 7-day pill boxes.

I do that and since I may be using two differing sized washers on a razor it takes 4 of each kind but I usually take out 5 of each.
A sorting tray bummed from your pharmacist or bought on line makes sorting and replacing them and other things into the original containers much easier.
