Default Where to buy scale material

I have a few razors that need new scales. This is probably covered somewhere already – sorry – but where do you guys source your raw materials (horn, wood, etc.) for making new scales?

    Thanks a million!

Personally, I get most of mine from Masecraft.

    Natural Materials

These guys are in the town next to mine. They will do their best to get you cuts of various sizes and they are very informative.

    Knife Handle Materials FAQ

Nice stuff, but they wont custom cut pieces since they are all pre-cut materials.

Personally I am still looking for Alligator Jaw and Amber slabs (never long enough for a scale though).

I got some wood at woodcraft, brass for pining at hobby lobby, & a combo pack of different high grit wet/dry sandpaper at auto zone. I would like to know where to source horn to.

I get most of my scale materials through these boys. Of coarse they live here in town and their warehouse is 6 miles away. Talk about nice guys, sometimes they will even swing by my shop and drop material off on their way home.....Two Thumbs Up for these guys.
