    Default Buffing/sanding pad question

    Has anyone ever bought a 6" buffing pad only to find it is egg shaped (it has a bump)? I wandered if that thing could be "shaved off", have any of you guys experienced this?

    Are you referring to wheels, like for a buffer? If so, raking them with a wheel rake can help even them out quite a bit. It's also good to sort of break the wheels in.
