hey, for what its worth to those of us that live in the western Midwest (IL, WI, IN, etc...) Menard's carries machine screws, nuts and washers as small as 2.5mm (~3/32") I'm using 3/32" rod for my pins, and 2.5mm screws to hold the project together while I work on it.
