I have the same belt sander, drill press and bench grinder. All work awesome! But i do have a clicking sound on the belt sander (sounds like a bearing or something) and watch out and for the disk on it. mine keeps un-sticking over night lol. A few times i have flicked it on and the disk ends up on the other side of the shed lol.
But i would love to know if you get a clicking sound from the belt sander, if its normal or just mine? If yours doesn't click i might take mine back.

I was looking at that sander today, wondering if ít would be suitable for hollow grinding. Anyone used this sort before? How is the speed?
@Brighty-do you use the big sander for knife or razor hollow grinding?

the clicking might be something on the belt itself... but it might be something wrong with the sander. FWIW, our Delta belt/disc sander does NOT click when its in use.

I have only used on wood. I chucked a test blade on it just then. It should be ok to hollow a blade (you have just enough room with the plastics) but you would need to change the belt and it would be a slooooooooow sand lol

I'm looking around at options for grinding at the moment and am interested in what others are using.
It's 3000 rpm isn't it? That's what made me think it might be pretty fast...
