    Default Wood Works scales

I have been admiring all the Steam Punk scales but don't have access to all the copper and brass it takes so I decided to make a Steam Punk-esk set of scales completely out of differant types of wood. I am calling it "Wood Works". Here they are:

I only have 1 coat of polyeurothane on them at the moment. It will take 3-5 more coats and some sanding before they are done.

Very cool! I was thinking about trying something like that..I have some old pocket watch parts.....But, when ever I try to make something like you guys it comes out like what I see here, but through fish eye lenses..

Outstanding craftsmanship. You'll have to be very careful when you pin those up! : )

Wow, simply amazing....are each of the sprockets and gears hand carved or are the actually metal?

They are ash and white oak that I laser cut the gears out of.
