There was a very nicely restored one that went for about half that two weeks ago. It got up to $100 and then there was a bidding war between two people and I thought it was just two people getting silly. Maybe not.

Me I'm happy that I paid about what the OP paid for his. No intentions of a re-sale. I just think that it is a very pretty razor and I got a bad case of the "me wants".

IMHO restored razor is never going to be as valuable as an original. I just looked at the bay and it seems to me that the one that was sold was already polished. I have one that may be approaching 'mint' status and the factory finish isn't what I see on those pictures. I think I saw a couple of pits too.
