    Default Chip removal?!!

I Bought this for my first resto project. I have been lurking in the background for a while trying to soak up the wisdom contained here. The amount of information is staggering and the advice is friendly and down to Earth. Back to my question....this Wade and Butcher has a significant chip. What is the group opinion, keep the edge even all the way across while removing the chip, or hone the heal narrow and leave the toe full width?

I had that same type of problem with a Wade & Butcher. I just slowly and carefully ground the heel away to get the profile I was after.
