    Default repairing horn scales

I brought a cheap 1865 Sheffield razor, and the original scales where damaged. The wedge/spacer fell( i am guessing a long time ago, this resulted in some wraping and holes. My idea is to use Krazy glue to fill in the holes and sand the inside to make the inside straight. Is this wise to do, or am i a complete nut case for even considering this.

....also....i have finished sanding down the razor, i got rid of the devils spit, rust, and some pitting. But there is some pitting left, no big deal i can live with it, i saved the letters that read " F.R-Frederick Reynolde". But when i was about to go at it with the fine grit to remove the 80 grit marks, i noticed when looking down at the spine the bit of the razor kinda curls in, should i sand the rest of the razor to fix this, i can provide pics if needed and asked.

I would use epoxy to fill the hole if trying to fill a gap. The superglue is much thinner, and would require multi coat. If in a viewable area, consider mixing a pigment with it for a better color match than clear epoxy.

I am unclear about the blade concern description. That might be my problem reading on the small phone screen. A picture is always a good thing.
