Thread: Warped scales and chipped razor

I posted a forum about my wrapped scales and i now have a picture of them. Also there is a small chip at the end of my blade( on the spine) and i was wondering will this dramatical effect the shave

As long as the chip is not in the edge, it won't effect your shave. The scales are just there to protect the blade when not in use. Be careful closing your razor, if you ding the edge on the scales closing, that could certainly effect your shave.
