    Default W&b

this is my latest effort and my last W&B ,unfortunately there is a bit of pitting at the end of the blade on both sides I removed nearly all but there is a little left where it was the deepest. I think someone has already had a go at this ,the bottom of the shank is a funny shape,I`m probably wrong I just haven`t seen a W&B shaped like it before.
Anyway the wood is called Ivory wood It is very hard and yellows over time like bone and ivory.
I managed to re-use the pewter wedge and the bulls eye washers, any way
    hope you all like it
    Kind regards Peter
PS just have to hone it and shave with it now

Looks like a nice job to me. It is an interesting shape, but W&B were making razors for a long time and at the top of the heap for all of that. I'm not too surprised by that design.

Good job Peter. I was working with a W&B that had the same issues. Eventually I had to leave a few spots. Doing the scales now. You'll have to tell us how it shaves.

Well you asked me how it shaves ,it is the sharpest have ever been able to hone a razor I don't know if I'm getting better or its just something about the razor ,but when I get my diamond paste and rotten stone ,my razors will be absolutely deadly
    (I hope )
    Kind regards Peter

Looks great Peter. I have to learn how to do this. I have Bill Ellis' CD but haven't had a chance to look it over. I love wooden scales. Not only do I have razor addiction now my razor envy is worsening.

Looks really good, Peter. I have quite a few W&B's and they do take a great edge. The shape is similar to their Bow razor. I have one and I like it.
