    Default Odd Grind O_o

    I received my James Barlow & Sons razor this week and i have a question about it.. it has an odd ridge that was ground on one side. The ridge starts from the toe of the blade and ends past the heel. The s and part of the h in "sheffield" are missing so i was wondering if it was from a mistake on a re-grind or if its original from when it was first made. this on grind DOES NOT impede the honing process. It also has a very short monkey tail.. but its not like other stub tails i have seen.. what year do yall think its from?
