Because of the shape of the scales I chose to make it more a spacer than a wedge, but it shouldn't be a problem to make it more "wedgie"
The material itself was very easy to work with, but for it to work for scales you will probably need either three - ply guard or similar thickness. I have a couple chinese single layer pickguards, but they are too thin and far from stiff enough to work.Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

try Grizzly Industrial... they have all kinds of pickguards and all kinds of inlay material, too. I'm pretty sure I'm going to try the company I linked earlier in the thread, only because it's hard to find black pearloid that's actually BLACK and not charcoal.
