    Default MAAS and others...

Recently, I started cleaning up an old razor with MAAS and was pleased with the results. Then I came across an article that suggested that products like this should not be used? Anyone have opinions good or bad about the metal polishes out there?

What was the article? Why shouldn't it be used?

There's not Maas anywhere within a reasonable driving distance to me, so I used turtle wax chrome and metal polish.
I'm a sucker for a stamped tail. Giggity.

Semichrome, Flitz, Wenol and Never Dull are what I've been able to find but no Maas (no pun intended for Spanish speakers). I've used those polishes on all types of metals, razors, knives, tattoo machine frames, and what have you, with no negative consequences that I am aware of.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If it weren't for metal polishes I'd have a lot of crummy looking razors
