Default Thinking about starting to restore razors :)

I have been doing slot of reading and it seems like it would be a hobby that I enjoy the only major problem I have come across is fining a supplier for pins and washers. Does anyone know of any places in Canada that sell these parts. Because when I try and order from other sources in the states shipping starts at $25 for 6 pieces of stainless/ copper pin stock :l and same for the washers. Or is there anyone on here that has some that they would sell at a fair shipping price? Thanks all

you can get washes from here
    Washers - Micro Fasteners

and I like to get brass rod here:
Brass Rod, 1/16 Inch Dia. x 12 Inches Long (Pkg. of 15)

not sure about shipping prices to Canada but it is a lot more than 6 pieces sets

I get my brass rod from PM Hobbycraft. I think it's $3 for 3 feet of rod. They sell the washers too but they are expensive compared to Microfasteners, so I would just order from them. They charge $7 to ship to Canada despite it only costs them $1.50 but the washers are a great deal.

I know the washers are a size "0" but all the rods are in standard sizes it seems. What size rod do you guys buy?
