Thread: Allen's Dry Hone Orleans.N.Y.

So I've succumb to the lore of ebay and have been slaying auctions over the past week or two and have "come home" with a few razors to practice restoration and honing techniques. So this Allen's Dry Hone is the first to be tackled!

So far have unpinned this bugger and am going to start sanding today!





Also, I've been so far unable to find too much about the stamp on the tang...I know about Joseph Allen and Sons, and even an Allen on 32 something street in London, but nothing so far pertaining to Olean N.Y. or even to Allen's Dry Hone Razor. I hope I'm messing with a piece of junk and not something valuable!
