    buff and replace the grind lines with 600 wet & dry

    That's a hefty amount of Elbow Grease (R) Ivo & Co However everyone will agree that the results are worth it. I am assuming you did it wet. Did you go along the length or along the width of the blade?

    both along the length then buff then spine to edge with 600 wet &dry, did it dry

    Thanks Peter. I'll definitely try it with the W&B that is still waiting for me to make a nice set of scales worthy of it.
