The star is very cool and the scales are wonderfully shaped, but too shiny IMHO.

Those scales are incredible and the star is very cool, that's a big symbol here in Texas. The aluminum liner concept would probably go better with an indented pattern instead of perforations, or else micro perforations that wouldn't look as uneven as the larger ones do on a curved edge. The concept is a good one even though this one didn't come out as intended. I think the ultra glossy finish compliments that wood.

As far as dollar value goes I'm too new at this to have much judgement on that so can't offer an opinion.

    Bill,

Outstanding!!! I think that it looks great.

Determine what you would sell it for if
the liners did match up and knock off
    $10.00. If I had the money I wouldn't
hesitate too buy this razor at your
    normal asking price.

Don't sell yourself short on this one.
Had you not mention anything of the
liners I would not have noticed. In
    fact I still don't.

I wouldn't mind paying the full asking on it if I could afford it. It looks like it will be a superb shaver and the liner doesn't really detract from the appearance. If you still feel iffy about it, let some lucky bastard get away with $10 off as Terry already suggested.
