Here in Ontario. The ministry of health suggest the use of an autoclave to sterilize Straight Razors. The autoclave uses pressurized steam to completely sterilize the blade.

I found out how quick celluloid burns when I use to play with fire and guitar picks, they make a lot out of celuloid, talk about a fire starter! On a side note they might be good to include in a survival kit for fire starter!
