Thanked: 0New to restoration... help!
I recently picked up this blade on e-bay... and had some initial questions regarding my jump into attempted restoration.
I already own a dremel and a plethora of attachments (I used to do some wood and glass carving hobbywork in college).
Does anyone have any recommendations as to how to restore the blade and polish the scales? Thanks in advance!

I recommend reading through all of the topics of interest in the restoration forums and then asking specific questions.

I've heard good things about it but never used one. The pics were very bad, so be careful. You don't know what you're gonna get.

I'm finding Bill (Urleebird) Ellis' CD to be a big help.

I'll second that. I have one and it's full of great info. Click on the barber's pole to get a discount and don't forget to mention your SRP nickname so he knows you're a member.
