Not yet, Bill. He's not allowed to look, even though he probably has this page bookmarked from an alternate IP where he's acting as a lurker

So how about some more pics Bill? At least let us see that "Bos anodized" stainless!

Of course you know, if you wanted to be really, REALLY ubercool it'd be a scale release auto razor. I wonder if Josh knows that dance scene from "West Side Story?"

Just so ya know what heat treated steel looks like fresh out of the oven and liquid nitrogen bath... here is what we look like so far.

Ain't that purdy? Anybody think I should just put it on the scales this way? I suppose I could sharpen it a tad with an 80 grit stone.

Heck, just send all the pieces individually wrapped with a note: "Some assembly required."
Great filework Bill, really takes advantage of all that real estate.

HEY, I think I have a few around here that look like that... OH, wait, mine are highlighted with some rust too!

Polish that puppy up! OH, an make sure it's only hand-sanding. No cheating with any rotary-anythings....

Bill, that is really going to look nice you do super work. I like the idea of sending it in pieces with some assembly required with a touch of honing.
if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

I would like a razor with that finish in some scales, but with atleast 8000 grit finish I thought of putting one of my carbon DOVO's in a white vinegar bath to make it like that. It is a popular way of blackening professional chief's carbon knifes. I might do that some day.

That looks neat. Kind of reminds me of the titanium oxide finishes on some knives and zippos; the rainbow of bronzish-metalic coulours.
