Gary, you say some damn funny things!
That razor looks like a velociraptor from Jurrasic Park!!! If Josh hasn't peeked at this thread, his jaw is going to hit the floor when he gets it.
That razor is high art, Bill. Very nice!

Simply awesome!!
I wanna see Josh get that baby through customs. BTW how does it shave?
Sorry to tell you this, but my wife doesn't like it. She doesn't like the all the "ridges" or the shape of the "handles". She wasn't even impressed by the half dozen gems. Don't worry though. I'll get her back for you, Bill. This really IS a one of a kind masterpiece and I'm on your side. :tu

An original piece of art! Now that's something special.
Well done Bill,
Luckily, the wife that counts in this case, does like it. She was the one I was worried about. I always worry about the one paying the bills... :bowQuote:

As you should. It looks like a beast Bill. Amazing piece.
Absolutely stunning! It should be on the cover of magazine! The file work really adds so much. The scales look amazingly deep in the pics, I can only imagine what they look like in person
Bill,
A true work of art. Even if you do not manage to sharpen it (which I am sure you will), it'll make a beautiful exhibition piece.
I just have one question: is it a little screw that I saw at the toe end of the spine? Is that to hide Josh's toothpick lol?
It's supposed to shave??? :eek:Quote:

Actually, I'll hone it up today and mail it tomorrow if Josh's wife gets back to me with an address. She hasn't answered my email yet. Maybe she changed her mind...
The screw at the tip of the blade is actually a supplemental laser guide to prevent maladies involving major losses of blood.
Or... an emerald in a setting. I guess my photography still needs work.
Thanks for all the compliments, guys. It was pretty challenging to make a razor this size look presentable and keep it somewhat balanced. In other words, it's hard to make a Clydsdale look like a race horse.
I've got one more razor to finish involving a commitment, and then I'll finish a few of the race horses. If you want to be notified when they are done and ready for sale, send me your email address either through a PM or through my web site. I will keep the costs below $300.
